Applications for PSN 2021 will open Fall 2020.

Applications will be due February 2021.

Tuition and Accommodation

*Tuition: $4,795 USD

*Accommodation: $1,195 USD

Accommodation is for 28 nights based on double occupancy. This price includes breakfast, ground transportation, a welcome and farewell dinner.

Prague Summer Nights is open to students 18 and above.

VOICE: resume, headshot, audition (live or video)

ORCHESTRA: resume, audition (live or video)

COACHING: resume, audition (live or video)

CONDUCTING: cover letter, resume, conducting video

STAGE DIRECTOR: cover letter, resume, interview (live or Skype)

ARTS ADMINISTRATION: cover letter, resume, interview (live or Skype)

Prague Summer Nights 2021 – Application

Application Fees:

All applications received must be accompanied by a non-refundable application fee of $50. If you are accepted to the Prague Summer Nights Young Artists Music Festival, you will receive an email notifying you of your acceptance. Additionally, you will receive a contract with the payment schedule, inclusions, exclusions, and all other pertinent information. We will begin to send out contracts by March 1.

 

Auditions

Auditions

Every applicant must fill out the application form and choose to audition live or online. To audition online, submit a link to a YouTube video of your audition. Vocalists should submit an audition video with piano accompaniment; instrumentalists should audition without piano. 
Financial Aid

Financial aid for Prague Summer Nights is available and will be determined on a case by case basis. If you wish to be considered for financial aid, please submit your aid request by clicking here

Applicants may either audition live or submit a video audition with a YouTube link.

Audition Repertoire

VOICE: Please prepare two (2) contrasting arias of your choice. Applicants who would like to be considered for principal roles must prepare an aria from that role.

ORCHESTRA: Please prepare one movement of a standard concerto and three (3) standard, contrasting orchestral excerpts.

COACHING: Please prepare 1) a solo piano piece or chamber music selection and 2) accompany a singer for an operatic aria.

*A pianist will be provided for voice auditions only.
