09 Apr Prague Summer Nights 2020: Festival Cancelled
After 5 years of successful festivals in the Czech Republic, regrettably, we at Classical Movements have had to make the decision to cancel Prague Summer Nights Festival 2020. While we were committed to presenting another successful year of performances and educational opportunities, we have decided that the uncertainties around the world surrounding all of our participation due to COVID 19, are just too great.
The decision to cancel the festival this year was a difficult one, in part because we had wonderful casts, a great orchestra, and an incredible roster of faculty for this season. We want the music to continue and we can hope that Prague Summer Nights will be brighter and better than ever in 2021. We have extended an invitation to all of our wonderful faculty members to return next year, and they have all accepted this invitation.
We will be emailing participants individually if they have accepted a role with us, so please be patient as we have many participants to contact.
We thank you all for your support during this difficult time and hope that everyone stays safe and healthy.
Thank you,
Neeta Helms – President and CEO, Prague Summer Nights Festival, Founder and President, Classical Movements
